1. Acceptance

By playing The Sunless Vault ("the Game") you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not play.

2. Eligibility & age

3. License to play

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and play the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment. All Game content, code, and original assets remain our property or that of our licensors.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• cheat, use unauthorised third-party clients, bots, or exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage;
• harass, threaten, or abuse other players;
• choose a display name that is unlawful, hateful, impersonating, or otherwise offensive;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• use the Game for any unlawful purpose.

5. User-provided content

The only content you provide is your display name. You are responsible for it. We may filter, change, or reject names and may suspend access for violations of these Terms.

6. Service availability & data

The Game is a prototype provided "as is". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue it, and may reset, lose, or delete game progress, at any time without liability. Do not treat in-game progress as permanent or valuable.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST GAME PROGRESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE GAME.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law
